πΈ A splash of colour is coming to Stellenbosch this week as a new floral-inspired mural gets underway at the Stellenbosch Golf Course substation.
Painting Stellenbosch Beautiful launches on Thurs 30th Jan. (9-10am), inviting the public to raise a glass and witness the start of transforming a striking 21m x 7m building into a vibrant celebration of local flora. The project is a collaboration between Cape Flora South Africa and the Stellenbosch Wine Routes, blending art, nature and place-making to brighten the townscape.
π Parking Attendant Safety Initiative - Stellenbosch CBD
The Stellenbosch Municipality, together with the Winelands Safety Initiative and Visit Stellenbosch, has rolled out new red safety bibs and sun hats to parking attendants operating in the Stellenbosch CBD. All participating attendants:
Have undergone police clearance
Carry valid identification
Are issued official ID cards with Zapper & SnapScan for safer tipping
The initiative supports visibility, safety and responsible giving, while recognising that attendants rely solely on tips as income. Additional safety gear will be issued soon.
A positive step toward dignity, safety and community collaboration in Stellenbosch.
